Private Education
Robert A. Lees & Associates has represented many private and church schools and recognizes that private education and freedom of choice are critical for our children's welfare. As a result, the firm supports freedom by the presentation of seminars to assist private school administrations, including charter schools, in current areas of interest in the law. These seminars emphasize risk management, child protection, preventative law, risk management, and employment law and active area in law.
In 1995, Robert A. Lees represented a nonprofit in Pitkin County and won a landmark constitutional and zoning case involving civil rights from both the first and fourteenth amendments. This case resulted in an award of over $300,000.00. A second landmark victory was won in 2008.
